Leonardo Business Centre was recognized as the best office real estate project at the CP Awards 2008. DEOL Partners nominated two objects for competition prizes – Phase II of the Leonardo Business Centre and the Senator Apartments Executive Court serviced apartments complex. Leonardo Business Centre confirmed its status as Kiev’s most prestigious business centre, receiving a Premier Award as the best project in the office real estate segment for 2007. Senator Apartments Executive Court, a DEOL Partners development project, was nominated in the hotel real estate segment along with the Hyatt Regency Sofiya Kievska and the Riviera Hotel. “We take an extremely scrupulous approach to selecting the projects we’re going to work with. That’s why our projects become deserving leaders in their niches. Thus Leonardo Business Centre won a Premier Award as the best office centre for 2007 in the Ukrainian office real estate category at the Premier Russia & CIS Real Estate Awards in London. Senator Apartments Executive Court was also honoured as the only representative of the serviced apartments niche in Ukraine,” said Ruslan Oleksenko, Managing Partner of DEOL Partners. The CP Awards 2008 ceremony was a central event for the professional community of the Ukrainian commercial real estate market. It gathered almost all the leading companies and honoured all of Ukraine’s significant projects and real estate objects. The level of organization and the quantity of the nominees at the CP Awards 2008 (40 objects were nominated in nine categories) is the best evidence of the fact that the Ukrainian market is reaching a new stage in its development – it is characterised by transparency, free competition, a strong commercial base, and top-quality architecture.

The Year’s Largest Investment Deal. Spring 2006
In spring 2006 Leonardo Business Centre Phase I was successfully sold to the Irish investment company Quinn Group. DEOL Partners performed transaction support for the sale and was also the exclusive leasing agent for the business centre’s first phase.
”This was a serious strategic achievement for us. The deal was considered the largest investment sale ever on Ukraine’s commercial real estate market. That’s an indication of the level and quality of the services our experts provide. Without a doubt, they meet Western criteria and Western standards. It is very important that Ukraine’s office and shopping real estate market be characterised by objects of European quality. From the architectural point of view, they must conform to international standards, and they ought to be positioned that way in the market. We consider Leonardo not just a space defined by a certain number of square metres, but as an investment product that generates steady income,” said Ruslan Oleksenko, Managing Partner of DEOL Partners.
A class A business centre, Leonardo is located in the heart of Kiev’s historical downtown, at the corner of Khmelnytskoho and Volodymyrska Streets. The excellent site, with its convenient traffic intersection and elegant neighbourhood, including the National Opera of Ukraine right across the street, makes Leonardo a unique real estate object. Its seven floors contain a total area of 23,155 square metres, including premium-class office and shopping premises, boardrooms, a conference hall, and an elite fitness club.

The Best Project of the Shopping Center at MALL Expo 2008. 19th September 2008, Kiev
Mall of Ukraine, the country’s first superregional shopping and entertainment centre, was recognized as the best project of the year at MALL Expo 2008. The final ceremony was held on 19 September 2008 during the first MALL Expo international exhibition in Kiev.
DEOL Partners is the developer of and the managing company for the Mall of Ukraine.
“Mall of Ukraine represents a new stage in the development of the Ukrainian retail market: it’s nothing less than a ’city within a city.’ That superregional shopping and leisure centres have started appearing in our country is the logical consequence of retail market development, of the formation of a mature consumer market, of real income growth among the population, and of retailers’ need for retail spaces of high quality. As the developer of the project, DEOL Partners is proud to receive MALL Expo’s recognition. It is a testament to our innovative retail development strategy,” comments Maryna Rymarenko, Strategic Development Director of DEOL Partners.
